Master of Engineering [ME] (Computer Engineering) From Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

• The Candidate should be an Indian National
• Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)
• Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought.
• Obtained non zero positive score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology OR
• Obtained non zero positive score in Graduates Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) conducted by All India Council of Technical Education
• For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology offers three specializations in the M.E degree program in the fields of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The university also offers a Master’s degree in the program Management Studies.

ME Specializations

VIT Mumbai M.E., M.M.S Eligibility

• For M.E programs, candidates should complete a B.E/ B. Tech degree in the relevance of the field applying to with a minimum of 50% marks and 45% marks for students who fall under the Backward class category and Disability criteria. For MMS, a candidate should graduate from any course.
• For candidates who are being sponsored, must have at least two years of full-time work experience in a firm/ company/ educational institute/ industry or research institution/ Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization.

VIT Mumbai M.E., M.M.S Selection Criteria

• Candidates are required to have a valid GATE score to be eligible for admissions meeting the rank or marks needed. Admissions are provided on the basis of the GATE merit rank.
• The candidates are requested to appear for the CAP counseling that would be conducted by DTE, Maharashtra, for the seat allotment.

Application Process:

• The candidates can visit the DTE website for the online submission of the application.
• Follow the rules as given to complete the process as required with relevant information
• Payment for the application fee can be done online by various e-banking options.
• The applicants then must visit Facilitation Center after submitting the form for the document verification, updating, and confirmation process of the application form.
• The merit list will be declared and the candidates must fill the online registration form for the CAP which is conducted by the state of Maharashtra DTE.
