Candidate should be completed his Graduation and a bachelors degree obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.

If you have not passed the B.Sc. Hons. Degree from Calcutta University, you will have to appear for the Entrance Exam conducted by the University.
The Test will be of 100 marks and for a duration of one hour. The number of questions in each test will be 50 questions and each question will have four options of which one will be correct answer. For each correct answer, you will be awarded 2 marks. There shall be negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer and for no try there will be 0 marks.
