St. Gonsalo Garcia College Admission
Admissions are given to the undergraduate courses based to students who have passed the higher secondary certificate exam conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education board - MSBSHSE for the FYBA/FYB.Com/FYB.Sc. IT courses. Students from other courses need to give an eligibility certificate which must be acknowledged by the University of Mumbai
For admission to the UG courses, the students must give the following:
- HSC marksheet with 2 xerox attested copies.
- Passport size photograph, HSC leaving and passing certificates
The PG admission will be conducted on the basis of merit. Students can fill-up the form online or offline at the college. The college will announce a rank wise list for all the courses with admission details.
St. Gonsalo Garcia College Placement
The college has been conducting placements, although not in a high percentage. The college does provide some guidance on getting jobs. The placement was approximately 10% of passed graduates in between 2014 to 2017.

Numerous scholarships are awarded to the student on different criteria. The different criteria include general proficiency in coming up 1st in each year of education. The college also has scholarships and prizes for students coming in top ranks in the examination.
The college also gives Merit scholarships to students who are children of primary and secondary class teachers. St. Garcia college also provides help in gaining GOI scholarship to SC/ST/DT/NT/SBC/OBC category and Non-Hindi speaking students. Eligible students also qualify for Freeship.

The college has a faculty of 40 experienced members. The principal of the college is Dr. Somnath Vibhute while Capt. Jose George is the Vice-Principal. - Library: The library has an online website as well. It has 43,500+ books, 50+ periodicals and many newspapers. It also provides N-List and Delnet for online library resources
- Fitness center (Gymkhana): Students can access various game courts like basketball, volleyball, football, and Badminton. There are indoor games and fitness facilities as well.
- Computer laboratory: There are 2 computer laboratories. These facilities are used in the training for Commerce and IT students. They have also used in technology-based assignments.
- Sports: The college also has a sports association. Through the association, the college provides physical fitness facilities in almost all fields. Different outdoor games like hockey, basketball, and indoor games like carrom, chess, badminton are made available. The college also arranges matches and games among the students and in between different colleges.
