St. Xavier’s College Mumbai PG Selection Process

• The selection in MPP is done on the basis of an entrance test and interview conducted by the college. 
• Selection in M.Sc. & M.A. is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
• Students from any faculty other than the Arts Faculty, University of Mumbai or from any other university will have to appear for an entrance exam and an interview for MA.
• Candidates have to pre-register themselves for the entrance test of MA and MPP on the official website of the college.

Exam Pattern

MPP

• Duration: 2 Hours
• The online exam will comprise of two questions:
  • Case Study: The candidates need to answer a few questions based on a policy-oriented case study.
  • Essay: The candidate needs to write an essay on a topic selected from a set of given topics from various disciplines.

M.A. in Ancient Indian History, Culture, and Archaeology 

• Duration: 2 Hours
• Total Marks: 100 Marks
• Objective Section: 60 marks
• Essay Section: 40 marks
