AVS College offers various courses to Undergraduate and Graduate students in the Departments of Tamil, English, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Computer Science, BCA, Geology, etc.
It also offers M.Phil to Postgraduate students in Management, Commerce, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Mathematics.

AVS College admits students on two basis:
Merit-based selection is applicable only to undergraduate admissions. Students applying for a Bachelor’s program are selected on merit basis followed by an interview.
Whereas, students applying for a Master’s program are selected via the TANCET exam. TANCET is a state-level exam conducted by Anna University. Students can apply online for this exam.
For MBA applicants, Management Aptitude Test(MAT) conducted at the national level is compulsory to qualify.
Both TANCET exam scores and qualifying examination scores (all the previous schools/institutions attended) are considered at the time of admission and based on that, students are given admissions.
