About
Periyar University, established in 1997, has been accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC. It covers the areas of 4 districts namely Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri. Periyar University is ranked #59 in the university category list by NIRF 2023. The university offers postgraduate and research programs under 29 different departments. Periyar University Result
Periyar University follows the semester system for all its courses viz. Odd and Even semester. The examination for odd semester takes place in the month of December/January and for even semester, it happens in the month of May/June. It declares the results of all its courses on its official website. Students can visit the ‘Results’ tab on its official website and enter their Registration Number along with Date of Birth. Click on ‘Show Results’ and the result will be displayed on the screen in the form of a PDF. Download the same for future references.

- Hostel: The university has 3 hostels namely Ladies Hostel separately hostel for PG and research scholars and a Gents Hostel. All rooms are equipped with basic and modern facilities to cater to students’ needs.
- Bank: A branch of Canara Bank is available on campus to render services to the teachers, students, and the public.
- Medical Centre: There is a health center on campus that functions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Everyone from students to teaching and non-teaching staff can avail of medical consultation.
