Vallabh Government College is named after Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, ‘The Iron Man’ the architect of modern India. It was established in 1948 as the first degree college of erstwhile Himachal Pradesh.

The college offers various courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level to the students who wish to pursue their career in their concerned subjects.

Admission is based on the marks scored in the entrance exam conducted by the college followed by a group discussion and personal interview.

VGC Mandi PG Admission 2023

At postgraduate level, VGC provides courses like B.Ed, MA, M.Com and M.Sc for a duration period of 2 years.It also offers PG Diploma in Computer Science for a duration period of 1 year.

To get admission in Bachelor of Education, Master of Arts, Master of Commerce and Master of Science, students need to appear in the common entrance exam conducted by the college followed by a round of personal interview. The total intake capacity is 100 seats for each course.

For admission in PG Diploma, the eligible candidates also need to give the entrance test which is conducted the college only. The total number of seats available to the students is 60.
