Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture (SMMCA), Nagpur is one of the leading architecture colleges in Central India. SMMCA was ranked among the Top 30 architecture colleges in India for 2020 by India Today magazine. The college is governed by the Women’s Education Society, a trust which was established in 1932 with the mission to empower women through higher, technical and vocational skills education. SMMCA offers UG and PG programs in the discipline of Architecture. Admission to the SMMCA Nagpur is done on the basis of NATA/ JEE Paper II/ PET/ MAH-M.Arch-CET scores. The admissions are conducted through a centralized admission process by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. For admission to the Ph.D. program, the candidates are to clear the Pre Entrance Test (PET) conducted by RTM Nagpur University.

Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture Placement
SMMCA has an active Training and Placement Cell which assists in the placement of graduating students, organizes value-added programmes and facilitates campus placements. The institute has conducted the placement drive for students of Architecture by Godrej and Boyce. The placement drive was open for all colleges of Architecture and Interior Design Colleges from Nagpur. Students from four colleges participated in this placement drive, those are SMMCA, VNIT, PIADS and Somalwar. The students joined Godrej and Boyce after their 10th semester got over at a salary of INR 35,000 per month. A total of 76 students appeared in Round 1, out of which 36 were from SMMCA and 31 students were shortlisted for Interviews, out of which 14 were from SMMCA. Some of the recruiters are Godrej & Boyce, Base4 International, Builtwell Solutions, Teri, Arcons, SpaceCraft Associates, Modi Associates, Hiren Gandhi and Associates, Bhansali Associates, Smita & Habib Associates, Endratesh Architects, Sanjay Puri Associates and many more.

Library: SMMCA’s Library has more than 5250 titles of books related to architecture and allied subjects. It houses more than 30 numbers of National and International Journals. Apart from these, the library has a collection of rare books, special reports and a growing collection of documentation reports by students, Thesis reports of undergraduate and postgraduate and PhD reports.
Sports: The college has a faculty who is dedicated to the coordination of sports activities and every year students participate in intercollegiate sports competitions like Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Taekwondo, Chess, Table Tennis and Athletics and bring laurels to the college.
Brain Gym: The Brain Gym encourages and nurtures creative thinking in students as well as teachers through many experimental art and design activities. In Brain Gym, students and teachers both get to flex their creative muscles through these various playful hands-on activities.
Canteen: The college has two refreshment facilities – the main canteen towards the rear side of the campus and a Nescafe coffee kiosk near the entrance of the campus. Both of these facilities offer good food at a very reasonable rate and are very conveniently located.
