Government Arts College (Autonomous) Coimbatore Faculty

The college boasts a team of over 300 faculty members, all of whom are highly educated and possess doctorates. Among them, 20 faculty members have more than 20 years of experience. The staff is composed of 60 government-certified teaching staff, alongside 10 cleaning staff, 5 driving staff, and 4 sports staff. Facilities include two libraries and 24 unique departments, offering courses in diverse fields such as defense studies and information technology.

Faculty members maintain a friendly and supportive relationship with students, encouraging participation in extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS. They are known to be approachable, conducting regular tests and guiding students in both academic and personal matters. Despite some infrastructural issues with classroom buildings, the college provides a clean and eco-friendly campus. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1-2 faculty members for every 40-50 students, ensuring personalized attention. Special classes are available for competitive exams like JAM and CSIR, showcasing the faculty's dedication to student success.
