BP Marine Academy Navi Mumbai Admission 2023: Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Application Form

The academy currently offers Bachelor of Science degrees in the following specializations.

• Nautical Science
• Hospitality studies

Eligibility

For the B.Sc Nautical Science degree, a student needs to pass his/her HSC examination with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It is also required at least 50% marks in English in either 10th or 12th level.

For the B.Sc hospitality program, passing the 10+2 level examination from a recognized board is deemed sufficient.

For both programs, the minimum and maximum age of the candidate is 17 and 25 respectively.

Selection Criteria

Like all other programs, there's no examination for selection. Students are most likely to be offered direct admission. In case of lack of availability of seats, the merit of the applicants will be considered.

The GP Training program of BPMA, Navi Mumbai is focused on Deck and Engine.

Eligibility

The basic eligibility requirement for admission is passing the 10th level with at least 40% marks. The 10th level education must include Science, Mathematics and English.

Additionally, at least 40% marks in English is required. Those who have secured fewer marks in 10th level will be considered for admission if they have secured more than 40% in English in the 10+2 level.

All applicants must be at least 17 years and 6 months old and should not be older than 25 years.

Selection Criteria

The selection is based on the merit of the applicant. The academy will offer direct admission if and when seats remain vacant.

Eligibility

For the GME course at BPMA, Navi Mumbai, students must have a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and its relevant streams or a Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture and relevant streams or a 5 year integrated M.E./M.Tech degree from a recognized institute.

Students also need to secure at least 50% marks in English in either HSC or SSC level.

Only those who are 18 years or older but not older than 28 years are eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria

The students will be admitted on merit. The academy may offer direct admission if seats remain vacant.

Prospective students of the HND program of B.P. Marine Academy can choose from the following specializations.

• Deck-Cadet HND in Nautical Science (HNDNS)
• Engine-Cadet HND in Marine Engineering (HNDME)

Eligibility

A prospective student needs to secure at least 35% marks in the 10+2 level to be eligible for the HND courses at BPMA, Navi Mumbai.

The compulsory subject combination of HSC examination should be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Selection Criteria

The selection of the students will be based on merit. The academy also offers opportunities for direct admission subject to the availability of seats.

B.P. Marine Academy currently offers Diploma course only in Nautical Science.

Eligibility

The basic eligibility criteria is the successful completion of 10+2 level education with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with no less than 55% marks.

Students also need to secure at least 50% marks in English in either HSC or SSC examination.

Students with a B.Sc degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Electronics with Physics as an individual subject in at least one of the three years of education and no less than 60% marks in the final year will also be considered for admission.

Students with B.E./B.Tech degrees are also eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria

The selection will be based on merit only. Direct admission may be offered by the institute.

Eligibility

For the ETO program of B.P. Marine Academy, applicants must either have a diploma with 60% marks or have a B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.

The applicants must also ensure that they have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured no less than 50% marks. The same percentage of marks is also required in English.

The applicant needs to be 35 years of age or less.

Selection Criteria

The selection will be based on merit. There's a high probability of securing direct admission.

BPMA, Navi Mumbai currently offers certificate course only in Maritime Catering.

Eligibility

The basic eligibility requirement is the completion of 10+2 level education with at least 40% marks.

Additionally, securing at least 40% marks in English in either 10th or 12th level is a mandatory requirement.

Students also need to be within the age bracket of 17 1/2 to 25 years.

Selection Criteria

Merit will be the basis of the selection process. Direct admission may be offered by the institute.
