Cauvery Institute of technology has a total intake of 300 students. The admissions to students are allotted as per entrance test scores. The institute accepts both the Karnataka Common entrance test (KCET) and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) Undergraduate Entrance Test.
