The MCA program consists of 78 students and offers five subjects, each taught by a different faculty member. The Head of the Department, Geetha Santosh, who has extensive industry experience, teaches Operating Systems. The academic year includes two Mid-Semester Tests and one End Semester Exam. The college is well-regarded for its placement opportunities, with companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Impetus, Accenture, and IBM frequently recruiting from the campus. Currently, B.Tech CS students are securing placements with packages up to 12 LPA, while the average package for the college is around 3.2 LPA. MCA graduates from the previous batch received offers ranging from 3 to 4 LPA, with approximately 30-40% of students securing placements. The placement process begins in the third semester, with internships starting in the second semester. The fee structure includes an admission fee of 500 Rs, a mandatory bus fee of 7500 Rs unless residing within 1 km, a caution fee of 1500 Rs, an E. Cell fee of 1000 Rs, and a miscellaneous fee of 3750 Rs. The tuition fee is a nominal 250 Rs, and uniforms cost 4000 Rs for two pairs, which is separate from the semester fee. Fees can be paid in installments. Scholarships are available for SC/ST and OBC categories, but not for merit-based scores. The MCA program spans four semesters over two years.
