Candidate must have obtain minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate (Calculated by adding the marks in top four subjects (except environmental studies) in order of marks secured by a student) and 45% marks in the concerned subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.OR
55% marks in the concerned subject or related subjects.OR
50% marks in the aggregate, when the subject is not studied. (provided all other clauses are satisfied)
Candidate must have passed in Biology/Biotechnology and Chemistry at the previous qualifying examination.
Marks in compulsory Environmental Education/Studies will not be taken into account for the calculation of aggregate marks. If the subject Environmental Science is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken in to account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks.
Candidate belonging to SC/ST Category should have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
