The application forms can be downloaded from the official website of JIS University.

Selection Criteria

For UG Courses, candidates must obtain a valid score in JIS Group online entrance examination.
For Ph.D., candidates must obtain a valid score in the Research Eligibility Test (RET) conducted by JIS University.

JIS University Scholarship

JIS University, under its JISUMS scheme, offers scholarships to meritorious and financially weak students of society. The scholarship amount, extending up to 100% on tuition fees of the total course fees, is awarded on the basis of the assessment of prospective candidates by the JISUMS Committee. The University awards its scholarship to the students who wish to pursue their studies in various courses at JIS University. JIS University offers scholarship (JISUMS) to the candidates fulfilling any criterion listed below:

Entrance Examination: The candidate should have to score a good percentile in the JIS University Entrance test for admission (JET 2021).
Previous Qualification: The candidate with consistent performance in all previous qualifying examinations.

I chose management studies because I want to start my own company after obtaining an MBA.
Many internship projects are available; they vary from time to time. You must maintain a good relationship with the professor, Head of Department (HOD), and teachers.
In our Jis University, they offer good placement and the best company will also recruit for our management studies.
The fee is not that much, but Im studying with a Bihar credit card, so it is one of the best benefits of this college.
Our university has good infrastructure. In fact, it is known for its good design. There are many seminar halls and auditoriums for seminars, workshops, and cultural programs.
The University hostels are spacious, furnished rooms available on a twin sharing basis with attached washrooms.
I am not saying that it is the best college, but I must say it is one of the best colleges to learn.

Dislike

The room is okay, but lots of things are not present; thats why students face various problems. The meal is very bad; all meals are unappetizing. Actually, the food is very bad and cant be eaten. There are lots of rooms in the locality

The admission process is through an eligibility Course. You can find the application form on the college website. Improvement in the admission process is not required as my opinion it is already an improved process. Overall college admission process was good.

One of the best engineering college near Salt Lake Kolkata

There was a well-organized admission process for entry into the college. The eligibility of the course was passing the higher secondary exam with a minimum percentage of 65 with Physics, Chemistry, and Math as compulsory subjects We had to sit for the West Bengal Joint Entrance exam after our higher secondary exam and according to our rank in this qualifying exam, we were called for the counselling process. After that, we were called for a basic Interview and document-sharing process and then we were handed over the admission letter. The application form can be found on the official website of the college. The application fee is 2000 rupees and the application date starts in the month of June and ends in July of an admission year. I want the Interview process a bit quicker and more streamlined.
