KLE University College of Pharmacy currently has been recognized as among the 10 best pharmacy colleges in India. Established in the year 1976, the college offers courses like D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy), B.Pharm (Bachelor in Pharmacy), Pharm.M (Doctor of Pharmacy), M.Pharm (Master in Pharmacy), and lastly, PhD. Lately, the college is also offering M.Sc. In Clinical Pharmacy since 2013. The admission to these courses is based on the entrance exam. Application mode is online.

The college anticipates campus placements with well known pharmaceutical companies, some of which are Novo Nordisk, Pfizer Ltd, The Himalaya Drugs Company, Quintiles Technologies, Neon Laboratories, Apotex Research Pvt Ltd, and many more.
Contemplating the statistics from 2016-2019, an average of 16% of students were placed in companies or have opted for entrepreneurship. While a mean of 20% opted for higher education. The college offers a wide range of facilities all oriented towards the professional and holistic development of all its students. The following are the facilities provided by the college
- Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal: The college is associated with Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal, a 350+ bedded NABH accredited hospital to provide the best clinical exposure to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) students.
- Clinical Pharmacy: Various Training regarding Drug Store Management, Prescription Filling, Health Screening services, Patient counselling, First Aid training etc are provided to students.
- Animal Housing: The college holds a CPCSEA recognized (626/ PO/ Re/ S/ 02/ CPCSEA) animal house facility for experimentation purposes. The animals are housed under the care of a veterinarian as per CPCSEA guidelines.
- Pilot Plant: A state-of-art pilot plant has been maintained by the college for the development and scaling up the dosage forms. The plant consists of a rotary tablet press, tabletop Spray dryer, and Kalweka main drive with interchangeable attachments for sizing, mixing, granulating, palletizing, and coating.
- Hostel: The college offers a separate well-maintained hostel for both boys and girls, located near the college with all amenities. Students dwell in a homely and healthy environment. The hostels are equipped with all the essential needs of the students.
