Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre offers B.Tech program in six disciplines and B.Tech Lateral Entry program in six disciplines at the UG level.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech program must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 55% marks in English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology and Technical Vocational Subjects as compulsory subjects. For admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course, students must hold a Diploma/ B.Sc degree in relevant discipline from a recognized institute with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.

Admission will be granted to B.Tech program on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main or RPET whereas admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course will be offered on the basis of Merit in the previous degree examination.

Key Points:

Admission:

The admission to the college was through reap counseling which is held by the Rajasthan state government. We can find this on rtu site or reap site which is activated every year. I don't have any reservations so I don't know about that. Actually, an improvement is needed when I was filling form my state name was not showing.

Eligibility is 12th with science. admission is Through reap, Reap rank is required for Admission. Reservation for sc/st 16% and obc 27%. It is good based on the 12th percentage and Jee main scores if you score well in pcm and mains you can get better college options

Admission:

The admission process was mainly through the REAP counseling process which is a counseling process conducted by the Government of Rajasthan every year. There was no separate examination for the counseling. The ranking and seat allotment were based on the JEE Mains& Advance marks.
