The selection criteria of the institute is mentioned in the following points:

• At first, ISMR Pune shortlist students based on their score in any of the following exams CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/SNAP/MAH-CET.
• After shortlisting the institute assigns a topic to screened students for Presentation Skill Assessment (PSA).
