Course Curriculum:

The curriculum of the Executive Programme in Sports Management is divided into 6 modules, details for which are mentioned below.

Sports Event Management

The purpose of this module is to educate students about the several crucial features of organization of sports events that covers project management, security, logistics, infrastructure and positioning, on national and international level.

Finance

This module teaches the individuals about the financial realities of national and continental sports entities and foundational concepts related to balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, budget options, and business plans, with an aim to strengthen and upgrade the processes of financial management.

Communication

The aim of this module is to educate and train individuals about the basic communication concepts that will enable them to interact effectively with experts and professionals of  sports organizations. In addition to this, they will be taught about strategic communication, planning, management of communication processes and crisis management.

Management

As the name suggests, this module is there to teach students how to switch efficiently from the amateur management of a sports organization to professional management by using key management principles and knowledge of the structure of sports organizations, decision-making processes, human resources management, leadership and the management of organizational change.

Sports Law

This module provides complete knowledge of sports law to individuals pursuing the course that includes the structure of the sports world, the status of the sports person, civil and criminal responsibility of sports actors, the different commercial contracts used, the resolution of legal disputes in sport and the increasing level of threats to the integrity of sport.

Marketing/Sponsorship

This module teaches students about the commercial realities of modern sport and they are also educated about the practical marketing approaches of sports entities and events, as well as to the selling of sponsorship and servicing of account sponsors.
