Established in 2008, Phonics Group of Institutions (PGI) aims to fulfill best academic and overall development of its students being run under Seth Bimal Prasad Jain Educational Trust. This is a private group of technical education institutions which is one of the most reputed and reliable names where one can let loose one’s mind to think higher in life and achieve better for the future. The group is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun located amidst the lush green environment and serene cultural atmosphere – Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Phonics Group of Institutions Placement
The Training & Placement Cell at Phonics Group of Institutions facilitates the process of placement of students passing out from the Institutes within the group by collaborating with leading organizations and companies in setting up of internships and training program of students and rolling up the campus interview sessions. The T&P Cell ties up with many industrial establishments, corporate houses, firms, and companies etc. which conduct campus interviews and select graduate and post-graduate students from all disciplines. The group also gives many mock drills like mock interviews and some seminars related with personality development, group discussions, and soft skills training for the ease of the students before facing the real-time interview sessions at the campus. Hostels
The group accommodates its students with separate hostel facilities for boys and girls within the campus. The hostel premises are well-maintained as they offer all basic comforts and amenities like wi-fi facilities, 24×7 Power Backup, Meal facilities containing healthy and hygienic food and fruits on daily menu charts, Sports Facilities such as Basket Ball Court, Badminton Court, Volley Ball Court, Cricket Field, & a gymnasium for maintaining a healthy pursuit of the students and the residents.
Labs
Within the group institutions, there are different labs in the curriculum as a methodology of giving quality education in a practical mode for many specializations. Students can easily access these labs in the observation of a supervisor of the institutes’ faculty member or lab’s staff.
Central Library
The students are encouraged not only to learn from classes but also to pursue independent research by using resources provided by the library services. While the physical library at PGI has a collection of books, journals, audio/visual materials, and other library items, and its e-library subscribes to commercially available digital libraries which greatly increase the learning resources to its users.
