Jeppiaar Institute of Technology Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu is a Christian-minority Institution established in 2011. Out of the 506 Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu, affiliated to Anna University, Jeppiaar Institute of Technology Sriperumbudur was ranked at 33, according to the Academic Performance Analysis published by the University Examinations 2016.

- The Government Quota intake is done through counselling based on TNEA conducted by the Anna University. Candidates can fill & submit the TNEA application form online. TNEA rank list is prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates at 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The counselling for TNEA is organized by the Anna University
- For the Management Quota intake, a consortium of self-financing Professional, Arts & Science colleges in Tamil Nadu will prepare a rank list.
