Is there a dress code for students studying in this college?

Accepted Answer

There are no uniforms as part of the dress code but students are expected to wear only formal clothes. All students are however expected to carry their ID cards with them at all times.

What are the rules for the college when it comes to ragging?

Accepted Answer

Any student violating instructions of the Supreme Court shall be immediately punished by the institution and FIR will be lodged against the person involved.

What are some of the beneficial activities that the college provides to the students?

Accepted Answer

National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) are some of the activities provided. NCC which is a Tri-Services Organisation consists of Navy, Army, and Air Force and is dedicated to grooming the youth into disciplined and patriotic citizens of the country. NSS program inculcates the social welfare thoughts in the students by providing service to the society without any prejudice.

How are the problems associated with the students addressed by the college?

Accepted Answer

The college has got a mechanism called Grievance Redressal Mechanism. If the grievances aren't addressed, the Principal would be contacted and if that doesn't take place within the stipulated time, then the complaint can be lodged to Director Higher Education, Haldwani Uttarakhand.

Is it possible for the candidate to change the faculty after admission has already been provided?

Accepted Answer

The same admission form cannot be used in case the candidate has failed to secure admissions to a particular department. However, the candidate could fill in the application form required for the desired faculty if the deadline has not been passed.
