Maharaja Bir Bikram College was established in 1947 and is affiliated with Maharaja Bir Bikram University. The college offers three UG programs like BA, B.Com, and B.Sc. Students can choose to apply either in the general course or in the honors course. The admission is merit-based and the merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in the previous examination. The B.Sc, B.Com, and B.A. courses have an intake capacity of 350, 250, and 900 students respectively.

The admission process is merit-based, students who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for the curriculum of their choice.
