B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering (B.Tech AE) is an undergraduate course in agricultural studies and processes. The minimum eligibility for this course requires passing class 12th/ Higher Secondary Examination in Biology, Maths and Chemistry.

B. Tech AE is a four year program and has similar course like B.E. in Agricultural Engineering. The mode of admission is through State/ National/ University Joint Entrance Examination or Pre Engineering Test.

B. Admission to M.Tech is also through an Entrance Examination. Some colleges/ institutes like Indira Gandhi Agricultural University and Indian Agricultural Research Institute also take an Entrance Examination for Ph.D program.
