Admissions to all courses are based on the merit achieved in the NEET examination, for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. The examination will be followed by the counseling process and then by an interview with the college. The steps to apply for the examinations are as below:
How to apply?
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the medical common entrance test conducted by NTA. The application process for NEET has been completed. The steps to apply are:
- Go to the official NTA website and click on New Registration. Read the guidelines and then click on “Proceed to Application.”
- Fill up the form and upload the required signature and photographs.
- Pay the registration fee.
- Print the final page after confirmation.
Post the examination, NTA will release merit lists based on which students will be selected for the counseling process. If or when the candidate is allotted Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, he can then apply to the college.

There are a total of 128 teaching faculty members, excluding the junior and senior residents. These also include 51 professors, 16 associate professors and 61 assistant professors. A total of 114 professors have either an MD or an MS degree. Another 11 professors have completed postgraduate courses at Private Institutes and have an DNB degree. For 3 assistant professors in the Department of Microbiology, the highest qualification is an M.Sc degree.
MRIMS is an excellent choice for a newly established medical institute, although it is not among the best choices in India. It more or less depends on the NEET ranks received. One of the few drawbacks is the distance at which it is located from the city hub. On the other hand, the college makes up for this with a board of caring and friendly faculty.
