The Heritage Academy was established in the year 2007. It is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). It is a part of the Heritage Group of institutions and was established by the Kalyan Bharti Trust. The campus of the institution is located in the southern part of Kolkata.

The institute offers Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA], Bachelor in Media Science [BMS], and Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA] at UG level. It also offers Masters of Media Science (MMS) at PG level.

The eligibility for all UG courses is a pass in 10+2.
A Bachelor’s degree is required for applying to PG course.

The Heritage Academy UG Eligibility

The basic eligibility for all the UG courses is a pass in 10+2.
Candidates applying for admission in BBA / BMS should have English as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level.
And for admission in BCA candidates should have English and Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics / Informatics Practice / IT / Computer Science / Computer Application at 10+2 level.

The Heritage Academy UG Selection Criteria

Selection is done on the basis of the CET exam score conducted by MAKAUT.
Post exam, MAKAUT will declare the cut off marks and ranks of the candidates.
According to the cut off and rank secured, candidates will be advised to choose the course at the time of online counselling.
After counselling, students need to submit the documents for verification at the institute.
After verifying the documents, the Principal or the Registrar will assure the acceptance of the candidate.

The minimum eligibility for the course is a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate.
Final year students can also apply.

The Heritage Academy PG Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected for admission into MMS course on the basis of score obtained in CET exam, conducted by MAKAUT.
After the exam, MAKAUT will release cutoff marks and ranks of candidates.
Those who have a valid rank need to participate in the online counselling and choose MMS course.
Post counselling, candidates need to submit the documents for verification.
After successful verification, the Principal or the Registrar will assure the admission.

How to Apply for The Heritage Academy?

Candidates who want to take admission in any of the courses offered by The Heritage Academy need to apply for CET exam. The steps to applyf ro CET are mentioned below:

Go to the official webiste of MAKAUT.
Click on the “Apply Online for CET” link.
Fill all the required details and click on the “Submit” button.
After you submit you will get your CET 2021 Registration Number and Password on your mail ID.
Use the details to login into your application form by clicking the option “Applicant Login for CET”
Now you have to fill your basic registration details and enter the securioty code.
Post filling the above data click on the “Submit” button again.
Pay the application fee and then proceed to fill other details like Education Details, Address, Examination City etc.
Upload your photograph and signature.
Submit the application form when you have filled it.
Take the print out of the submitted application form and the fee payment receipt and keep them for future reference.
