Atmiya Institute of Science and Technology for the Diploma Studies was introduced by Atmiya Univerity, Rajkot to introduce diploma programs focusing on practical and skills-oriented training. It is a technical degree that only covers the essentials when ranked with an undergraduate degree. 

Diploma in Engineering offered by the Atmiya institute aims to provide students experience job-related knowledge scientific skills, computing & analysis, mathematical techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the field and ability to apply problem-solving techniques. 

Diploma in Engineering

Its duration is 3 years. The candidate can apply for studying diploma in engineering degree after completion of 10th grade. In India, it is recognized as equivalent to Pre-Engineering or Bridging course when considered for continuing studies in engineering, with admission given directly in the second year of engineering. Students can either continue to study further Engineering studies or specialize in certain fields with an advanced diploma after successful completion of Diploma in Engineering course.
