Purnea College of Engineering offers B.Tech courses for the students after successfully completing 10+2 and choices to pursue higher studies. The college is offering 4 different specialization courses in B.Tech.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be qualified up to Intermediate with 75% marks or maintained the position in top 20 percentile is eligible to apply.
• The entrance exam is held every year, the candidate must apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) and the college also offers admission on the rank of JEE Entrance Exam.
• The candidate must qualify for the cut-off of the entrance exam. The cut-off varies from year to year.
•  Once you qualify the cut-off, you will be eligible for participating in the counselling process where you can process for the branch, the different branches have different cut-off scores. 
• Once you will clear all the process of counselling, you will be eligible for taking admission in the institute.
• The last step will be the submission of course fees.

Selection Criteria

• Admission will depend on the qualification of JEE Advance/ BCECE.
• The admission seeking candidate must be successfully passed the 10+2 exam and JEE qualified.

How to Apply for B.Tech?

• Register for JEE Advance Exam for B.Tech.
• Fill the form with your personal details, academic details, upload photograph, signature, of the candidate.
• Pay the application fees Debit card/Credit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM by following the online instructions.
• After successful completion of the fee payment, Print the confirmation page for future references.

Document Required:

• Copy of Academic Result.
• Passport size photograph either in JPG or JPEG format 
• Signature of the candidate in the JPG or JPEG format.
• Scanned copy of Category Certificate, PwD Certificate, if applicable.
• The candidate valid email-id.
