Fee structure for the courses is INR 2500 per year additional Special fee INR 1000 per year and Development Charges INR 1000 per year.
Tuition Fees INR 2500 has been waived by Government in respect of Handicapped students and SC / ST students.
Government of Tamil Nadu have implemented the scheme of Free Distribution of Laptop Computers to the Students studying in Government and Government Aided Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges to facilitate them in acquiring better computer skills.

PSG Polytechnic College Diploma Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed class 10th with a minimum of 35% from the recognized board.
Candidates who have completed ITI Diploma Course can also apply.
10+2 with Math & Science / 10th passed students qualified with 2 years ITI can directly join the second year of the three year Diploma programme under Lateral Entry Scheme.
The intake under lateral entry scheme is 20% of sanctioned intake of First year, which is supernumerary.

PSG Polytechnic College Diploma Selection Criteria

No entrance examination is required for selection.
Admission to the applicants is based strictly on merit, who have scored well in the qualifying exam.
Applicants will get admission in the institute by The Directorate Of Technical Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu.
