• Admissions at Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira Polytechnic are based on merits obtained in the class 10th examinations or any other equivalent examination. Students need a minimum of 60% aggregate in their examinations to be eligible for the diploma courses.
• Candidate’s rank obtained in either the Shilpamandira Admission Test (SAT) or the WBSCTE Admissions test - JEXPO is also considered for admissions. 
• Candidates will be required to appear for counselling after the declaration of result.
• Only male individuals are given admission to the Institute.
• Admissions to lateral entry courses will be as per availability of seats.
• Seats are allotted via SAT 2020 Counseling (25%) & JEXPO-2020 Central Counseling (75%).

Admission process to the institute takes place using the offline medium. 

1. Interested candidates need to purchase an admission form along with the college prospectus by paying an amount of INR 800 in cash only.
2. Fill the admission form correctly. 
3. Submit the properly filled form along with the necessary documents to the institute’s office.
