Alliance School of Economics is a Bangalore-based, and UGC-approved private institution that existed in 2010. Alliance School of Economics Courses

The Alliance School of Economics offers full-time courses like Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and PhD. The duration of these courses varies between 2-3 years. As both fundamental concepts and advanced applications are covered in a structured way under each program, individuals find it easy to understand and interpret economic behaviors across consumers, industries, and government entities. In addition, under the B.sc course, an extensive range of electives are available in disciplines like Management, Commerce, Law, Liberal Arts, and Applied Mathematics. 

MA students on the other hand get to study subjects like Advanced Mathematics and Statistics for Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Behavioural Economics, and International Trade. Computing for Data Science, Machine Learning and Neural Networks, Panel Data and Advanced Topics, Corporate Finance and Governance, and Environmental Economics are some of the other subjects that are taught to them.

  • Post Graduation Degree with at least 75% marks from a recognized University.
  • Candidates having an M.Phil Degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks are also eligible to apply.
  • A 5% relaxation in marks is given to individuals belonging to the SC/ST category.

Smart Classrooms: The college has developed hi-tech, spacious, and well-ventilated lecture halls on its campus to ensure classes can be conducted smoothly. Alliance School of Economics Scholarships

The Alliance School of Economics offers several scholarships to students based on different criteria as given below.

Merit-based Scholarships: These scholarships are offered by ASE to students depending on their National Entrance Exam Scores, and achievements in Academics and extracurricular activities. Scholarships worth Rs. 6 Crores are available for meritorious students.

Category-based Scholarships: The following scholarships are offered to students by the Registrar’s Office on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Differently Abled: This is applicable for students who have 40% permanent disability and a Unique Disability ID from the Government of India.
  • Defense and Paramilitary Quota: Under this category, scholarship is offered to children of Serving personnel, ex-servicemen, retired personnel, and deceased personnel or their dependents from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Coast Guard, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Security Guards (NSG), Special Frontier Force (SFF), Assam Riffles, Border Road Organization / General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Military Engineers Service (MES) and Defense Security Corps (DSC).
  • Sports International Level: This scholarship is for students who have represented India in any International Sports Competitions approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ SAI/ IOA/ FISU/ National Federation of Concerned Games approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ Association of Indian Universities/ School Games Federation of India. To claim the benefits, students must present a certificate from the concerned authorities of the sport. 
  • Sports National Level: As the name itself is self-explanatory, this scholarship is offered to students who have represented the state in any competition conducted between the last 2 consecutive years at the national level in Individual/ Teams approved by the Ministry of Sports/ Sports Federation/ AIU. The student must obtain a certificate from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports/ National Federation/ Board of concerned games only. 
  • Domicile: To claim the scholarship under this category, students must have studied in any Government-recognized institution located in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 academic years. In the case of the candidate who has taken more than one year to pass a class or standard, the year of academic study is counted as one year only.

Alumni Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to alumni, their spouses, children, and siblings specifically for tuition fees only, to help them focus on achieving their academic and professional goals.

Employee Scholarship: This scholarship is for the employees who work with the Alliance School of Economics. In addition, benefits are extended to the children of Alliance employees for tuition fees and higher education.
