Established in the year 2000, Institute of Agri-Business Management (IABM) located in Bikaner is a constituent unit of Swami Keswanand Agricultural University.

For MBA admission, candidates are shortlisted on CAT/MAT/CMAT score. The admission procedure also includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Institute of Agri-Business Management MBA aspirants should have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/BBA (Agriculture Business) from ICAR recognized institution with a minimum of 60% marks.

Admission to MBA is done on the basis of valid CAT score, as well as the performance at 10th and 12th board examination, group discussion and personal interview.

In the case of Ph.D, a candidate should have completed a PG degree in agriculture and allied subjects/ MBA (AB)/ MBA with at least 6.5/ 10.0 OGPA or equivalent percentage. For admission to the Ph.D. program, the candidate must appear for Ph.D. Admission Test conducted by the institute. The minimum required eligibility for PGDAIM is that candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and allied subjects with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST).

IABM Bikaner Admission Highlights 2023

The institute offers Master of Business Administration (Agri-Business) is a two-year course full-time residential course with the seat intake of 40 students.

Eligibility:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/BBA(Agriculture Business) or relevant fields (Horticulture / Vet. & Animal Science / Dairy Science / Dairy Technology / Food Science / Food Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Agro-Forestry / Home Science / Fisheries, etc.) from any Agricultural University or institution recognized by ICAR with a minimum 60 percent marks (55 percent for SC/ST).

IABM Bikaner MBA Selection Criteria:

Admission will be granted on the basis of a valid score in CAT/MAT/CMAT Entrance Exam. Admission of candidates to MBA is done on the basis of the following components:

• Out of the 40 seats, admission on 35 seats will be offered in regular mode.

• Additional 5 seats are reserved for In-service (no age limit) candidates.

1. Fill the application form with all the required details.
2. Upload scanned copies of Photograph (2 MB where dimensions are 150X150px).
3. Submit Form Online carefully (You can check & edit the form before final submission).
4. Take the print out of the filled application form.
5. Send a printed copy of filled application form with online transaction receipt/demand draft to Institute.

In addition to MBA, the institute also offers a one-year PG Diploma in Agri-Business Management program with a total intake of 15 students.

Eligibility Criteria:

For admission to PGDAIM, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and allied subjects from any Agricultural University or institution recognized by the ICAR with a minimum of 55% marks. 

Note: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female candidates/Kashmiri Migrants will be as per the reservation policy applicable.

Selection Criteria:

Admission to the PGDAIM program is done on the basis of merit. Final year graduating students due to complete their degree requirements and obtaining the minimum prescribed percentage of marks may also apply.

During the training period, the candidates will be given the designation of Management Trainee and a stipend of INR 6000 plus other allowances.

In addition to PG courses, the college also offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) to the candidates who possess PG degree in agriculture and allied subjects/ MBA (AB)/ MBA with at least 6.5/ 10.0 OGPA or equivalent percentage.

Candidates with a post-graduate qualification in agriculture and its allied sciences with a work experience of a minimum period of five years in an agri-business unit/industry are also eligible for admission to Ph.D. in Agri Business.

The institute will shortlist candidates for admission to Ph.D on the basis of Ph.D Admission Test conducted by the institute. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and Group Discussion at the institution. 

Intake: 2 Seats

Candidates seeking admission to the program will be required to submit the application form online.

• Seats for candidates and Kashmiri migrants are reserved as per the policy of state government.
• An amount of INR 12000 per month for 1st and 2nd year and INR 14000 per month for 3rd year shall be paid for teaching assistantship.
