Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Cut Off

Stanley offers 4 years full time AICTE approved undergraduate degree programme, Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech in different fields of specializations including the following:

• Computer Science and Engineering or CSE – 180 seats
• Information Technology or IT – 120 seats
• Electronics and Communications Engineering or ECE – 120 seats
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering or EEE – 60 seats
• Computer Engineering or CME – 60
• Artificial Intelligence and Data Science or Ai&DS – 60

B.Tech is a self-financing full time courses at Stanley that is affiliated to Osmania University. 70% seats in each field is under convener quota and 30% under Management quota. Fees from annual year 2019-20 to each quota is INR 78000/- per annum plus an additional INR 3000 as accreditation fees.

Eligibility

For seeking admissions to B.Tech courses, a candidate must satisfy following eligibility criteria:

• Must have passed Intermediate or 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a Government of Telangana recognised board or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category)
• Must have to qualify EAMCET entrance exam by Telangana State Government
• Must satisfy local/non-local status requirement in Telangana State Educational Institutions
• Minimum age must be 16 years and there is no upper age limit

Selection Criteria

Admissions are done through counselling based on the score obtained in TS EAMCET examination for the particular academic year.

Online registration for TS EAMCET counselling will begin from June 24, 2021 (tentative). The fees for counselling is INR 1200 for OC/BC category and INR 600 for SC/ST category.

Steps for Counselling

• Registration – Eligible students need to register online for counselling and document verification
• Document Verification – Students will be called for document verification based on their rank in the entrance exam at allotted facilitation centre
• Option filling – After document verification, a candidate can select options for colleges and courses online
• Final allotment of seats – A candidate is offered seat on provisional basis based on his/her choice and availability at the particular college
• Reporting to college – For final admission process, one needs to report at the allotted college and fulfil all the required formalities along with fee payment

Stanley offers 2 years full time AICTE approved post graduate level degree course, Master of Business Administration or MBA. 60 seats are available in total for the program. 

Eligibility

• Candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category)
• He/She must have qualified ICET entrance examination and have a valid score. 
• Final year students are eligible for provisional admission and they muist furnish their certificates within the mentioned period. 

Selection Criteria

Admissions are done purely on merit basis and through counselling based on the score in Telangana State ICET examination.

Counselling fee for General category – INR 600 and for SC/ST – INR 300. For 2019. The qualifying marks for general category was 25%

Steps for Counselling

• Candidate Registration for Certificate verification – Based on TS ICET score, a student needs to register for counselling. He/She will be called for certificate verification based on ranks
• Document or Certificate verification – Students need to submit certain documents like caste certificate, educational documents, rank card, hall ticket, marks memo, study certificate and income certificate for verification
• Online option selection – Candidates can select unlimited options for desired college and freeze the same before the deadline
• Seat allotment and download of college allotment – students are selected based on their merit in entrance exam to a particular college of choice
• Payment of fee at the college – On successful allotment, a student can pay admission and other fees at the college to seek final admission

Stanley offers 2 years full-time AICTE approved post-graduate-level degree programme, Master of Engineering or M.E in 1 specialization including:

• ECE Embedded Systems

And 2 years full-time AICTE approved post-graduate-level degree programme, Master of Technology or M.Tech in 2 specializations including:

• Computer Science

Total 30 seats for Embedded Systems and 24 seats for Digital Systems are available for admission with annual fees of INR 57000/-

Eligibility

For admissions to the M.E program, a candidate must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

• Must have completed B.E/B.Tech in ECE, CS/IT or equivalent from a recognised University
• Must have valid score of GATE or PGECET entrance exam

Selection Criteria

Admissions are done through counselling on the basis of score in PGECET conducted by Telangana State Government or GATE exam.

Start date for counselling by Telangana State is August second week 2021 (tentative). Counselling is done separately for GATE qualified and TS PGECET qualified candidates.

Steps for GATE qualified candidates

• Registration and fee payment – Students need to register online for counselling by paying counselling fees i.e. INR 600 for general category and INR 300 for reserved category
• Filling of Application form – Fill out the required personal and academic details in the application form and upload the same with scanned copy of recent color photograph and GATE hall ticket
• Verification of documents – For verification, one needs to carry GATE score, certificates & mark sheets, residential certificate, aadhar card, category certificate and income certificate at the counselling help centre. A document verification certificate will be issued on completion of the process
• Choice filling - – After document verification, a candidate can select options for colleges and courses online
• Allotment of seats – seats are allotted based on availability and choice on provisional basis. For final admission, a candidate need to visit the college for fee payment and other documentation

For availing scholarships, a student must belong to either of the categories below. Institution scholarships are provided to students on merit basis.

• Reserved category of SC/ST with annual family income is INR 2 lakhs or less
• BC, EBC, Disabled Welfare Students with annual parental income is INR 1 lakh or below
• Students pursuing part time or online courses are not eligible
• Students admitted under sponsored seats and Management Quota or those getting stipend more than the scholarship amount in aggregate per annum are not eligible
• BC, EBC and Disabled Welfare students in Open Universities and Distant Mode are not eligible
• No stipend is provided to students of M.E course by the college, but it accepts Government approved scholarships and provide the same to eligible candidates
• Sponsored GATE qualified candidates are not eligible for scholarships
