The campus of Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology is spread over a huge area of 15 acres of land, surrounded by lush greenery and well-resourced with ultra-modern infrastructure and facilities. Apart from this, college is just 20 km away from ISBT, New Delhi (Anand Vihar), 45 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport and is also well connected by Rail/Road from all parts of the country and nearest location of Delhi-NCR including Noida, Hapur, Meerut, Saharanpur, Haridwar and New Delhi (Sarai KaleKhan) etc. College also organizes national and international level seminars, conferences, workshops, guest lectures, technical learning sessions along with cultural and sports events on a regular basis to teach students beyond curriculum and train them as per industry standards.

Additionally, the campus is fully-equipped with Wi-Fi hotspots to help students and faculty members use the internet facility seamlessly for their project or research work so that they can invent new things and strengthen their existing concepts. Last but not the least, LAN is also available in Academic and Administrative Block and below mentioned are some of the other top-notch amenities college has for its ambitious youths and highly experienced teaching staff.

Academic Complex: The college has spacious, well-ventilated and airy lecture halls, Tutorial Rooms, Seminar Halls, and air-conditioned Conference Rooms with state-of-the- art audio visual facilities to make the learning environment truly motivating, empowering and participative in nature.

Professional Communication Lab: With the aim of enhancing student’s communication skills and conducting seminars, group discussions, debates and mock interviews, the college has established a well-resourced and fully computerized and air-conditioned Professional Communication Lab in the campus. Also, software like Pronunciation Power, Re Net Language Studio, International Phonetic Alphabet and Speech Analyzer are installed in systems present in this lab and this space is also used by the students and teachers for frequent interaction sessions.

Computer Centre: With the objective of making students aware about latest technologies and tools and developments happening in the industrial world, the college has developed centrally air-conditioned computer labs for each department, all of which are well-resourced with modern Desktops and latest versions of Licensed and Open source Softwares  including Application, System, Servers and Database Softwares along with TFTs and IBM Series Servers. Along with this, 2 cyber labs are there on campus with 32 Mbps RF Link for Internet.

Central Library and E-Library System: There is no doubt in the fact that for an academic institution, a library acts as its knowledge center and backbone. Hence, a spacious and aesthetically developed library has been built by the college and this library is a home of 52000+ Books, 850 bound volumes of journals and 2500 Nos. of CD/DVD containing rich resource material along with 165 National and International journals and 35 magazines. Apart from this, e-books are available in the library which students and teachers can use to fulfill teaching, research and consultancy requirements. 

Also, the library has computerized catalog search services through OPAC and bibliography records consist of 46,000+ books and all required infrastructure including Computerized Reference Hall, Stack Area and Reading Rooms. Last but not the least, the library is a proud member of DELNET (Developing Library Network.

Entrepreneurship Development Cell: For the purpose of transforming ambitious youths and students into future Entrepreneurs, an Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been established on campus and eminent people like Small and medium entrepreneurs, Technocrats, Managers, Officers from Industries, Departments, Financial Institutions and Banks are invited on a regular basis to interact with students and help them develop essential skills by sharing their experiences and difficulties. • Skill Development: College has signed a memorandum of understanding with HCL Ltd, TCSion, Redhat, CMC, Sofcon Pvt. Ltd, Prolific Engineers, HR CadCenter, Teleios, NIIT, ARAB Pvt. Ltd, Finetech Controls, Candid Cohort and NIESBUD for students skills enhancement and train them on latest technologies like Robotics, Cloud Computing and programming languages and software like Php, .Net, Android, Java, CNC, VMC, Embedded Systems, HMI, SPM, automation, autocad and solid works etc. 
• Live Industry Projects: With the aim of utilizing students existing skills and help them develop new ones, they are sent to famous industries such as Shriram Piston, GPP, Spark Engineering, ASMETECH, Aurel Controls P Ltd, Erudite Software, Sahasra Electronics, SVH Engineers P Ltd, Robotics AV, Modinagar Paper Mills Ltd, SGES Engineers P Ltd, Radiant Energy and many more.

Cited below are some of the activities which life at BBDIT worth celebrating.

Extracurricular Activities: As the college firmly believes that along with academics, extra curricular activities are very important for complete personality development of students, hence the college regularly organizes a diverse range of sports, literature, social and cultural events including celebration of Annual Day, Republic Day, Diwali, Holi Milan along with Cricket Matches, Badminton Tournaments, Quizzes and  Debates etc. Apart from this students participate in the Inter-college seminars, paper presentations and other cultural programmes.

College Fest: BBDIT also conducts a 2-days annual fest called Encore where students from 300 institutes of NCR and other places participate enthusiastically and an extensive range of cultural events including Sur Tal, Movers and shakers, Technical Events CAD Designing, Video Cracking, CKT Fits, BUDDHA, Robomania and Web IT are organized to help students explore their imaginations and skills to the maximum level. Apart from this, young entrepreneurs present their business plan in front of Jury and English/Hindi Debates along with adventure activities like Counterstrike and Tekken are also conducted. 

Specialized Workshops: Entrepreneurship Development Cell has maintained good relations with eminent industries and Government of India and with their collaboration organize workshops to provide experiential learning experience to both teachers and students.

Industrial Visits: Apart from the specialized workshops, corporate visits and tours are also organized by the BBDIT to provide an overview of how exactly an industry functions with the support of people and processes. Another prime benefit of these visits is that students get the chance to easily visualize machines in action and understand manufacturing processes. And industries where these visits take place are Havells India Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, HCL, NIIT, Coca Cola, Diamond Piston, Bisleri, GPP, Mictomatic, Samtel, ITC, Godfrey Phillips, Sofcon and AEAB.

Students Clubs: For the purpose of providing a community to students where they can make friends, professional network and have fun and also for organizing activities through which these young minds can stay connected and updated with happenings of outer world, numerous student clubs have been established by the college on campus, details for whom are given below. 

• ProdhyoGeeki Technical Society: This is a dedicated student club of the college's Mechanical Department whose prime work is to organize workshops and events on latest technologies and developments related to Mechanical Engineering domain. And these events and activities are not attended by BBDIT staff but also by various famous educational institutions of Delhi NCR region.
• Sampark: As the name itself here is self-explanatory, Sampark is the Bi-annual newsletter of the college that keeps everyone informed about all the events, happenings and achievements etc. of the students and Faculty. And this is especially designed and developed by the students’ committee under the guidance of the faculty Editorial Board.
• Arpan: BBDIT never leaves any opportunity when it comes to serving back to society, hence Arpan society has been established to work dedicatedly for the development of society and its people. Another prime responsibility of this society is to educate the underprivileged children and adults and bring awareness among them about various kinds of health issues like HIV/AIDS and its treatment, educate the country's citizens about their responsibility towards choosing their leaders and also about the environmental issue like Deforestation and Global Warming. Blood Donation Camps are also organized by the college on a regular basis.

Literary Committee: This committee has been established by the college with the aim of improving literacy skills of students and providing them a suitable platform to bring out their hidden talents. Debate competition, elocutions, extempores, poetry writing and essay writing along with various inter and intra college events are organized by this amazing committee on a regular basis. Apart from this, guidance is also provided to students about article writing, poetry and other kinds of write-ups. In other words, we can say that this committee acts as a backbone of the institute in improving the overall personality of students and transforming them into world class professionals.

Personality Development: With the aim of making students more employable, trainable and presentable so that they can communicate with outer world and industry people with more courage and confidence, BBDIT in association with highly qualified professionals and experienced teachers, has designed a mandatory Holistic Individual Development Course (HIDP). And the main objective of this course is to inculcate best ethical values and etiquettes in young minds and also to improve their communication skills and logical reasoning competency through group discussions, personal interviews and many more. Mock drills and company specific workshops are conducted too under this course.
