Burdwan Raj College offers both General and Honours courses in BA, B.Sc., B.Com in different disciplines of specializations along with BBA (Hons.) and BCA (Hons.). The basic criterion to take admission in these courses for candidates is to have passed 10+2 in relevant subjects with minimum 45% marks.

The selection of candidates in these UG courses is based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

Key Points:

• The candidates seeking admission in Hons. course in the particular subject must have 60% or above as minimum marks in Mathematics/ Electronics/ Philosophy/ History/ English/ Bengali/ Sanskrit/ Hindi. While for Geography/ Chemistry, Physics, Zoology/ Botany and Political Science, the minimum marks per subjects must be 70%, 75%, 65% and 50% respectively.
• The candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories are given a relaxation of 5% to the aggregate score of qualifying examination with PWD candidates granted with a relaxation of up to 10%.
• Reservations are awarded as per the norms of the State Government and Govt. of India.

Burdwan Raj College offers a single post-graduate course i.e. MA Bengali. The candidates seeking admission in this course must possess a graduate degree in any discipline with Bengali as one of the compulsory course.

The candidates in this course are selected on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination.
