Burdwan University also known as the University of Burdwan is a UGC approved university which has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade. Burdwan University offers almost 100 courses at UG, PG and doctorate levels in its 4 academic campuses and 166 affiliated colleges. Burdwan University has different admission measures for UG, PG & Doctorate courses. The selection of candidates for the UG courses except B.Tech. is fully merit-based. In addition, for taking admissions into the PG courses such as M.A. & M.Sc., the university conducts its entrance examination. However, Burdwan University also accepts valid scores of various national level entrance exams such as MAT & GATE for admissions in MBA. and M.Tech. respectively. My opinion reveals a good experience and the exam structure of calcutta university is under the regulations of 2009(1+1+1 system).the exam is conducted by calcutta university in various colleges with very good responsibility.
Yes, all the students from this university are placed in a very good place is nic tcs, cognizant, etc so many teachers are also passed out from but are also teach in but as a professor.
So many companies internship here.those companies give our a self power tor motivate everyone to achieve their success and their ability skills very highly so i always interested for this and that's for i listen everything of their speech
The faculty were well qualified and most of them were student friendly .although there is a certain professor who is very condescending and biased towards the students.
Many hostels are there.there are many girls hostels also.the fees of hostel is cheap.the quality of food for every day is nice.the delicious food are provided not forgetting the scarcity of protein and vitamin.
Extracurricular activities like library work, gardening, campus cleaning, maintaining safety in roads campaign, soprts and games, gymnasiums, yoga, and many more are there.
