Selection Criteria:

The selection at Bihar Institute of Law is based on the common entrance exam conducted by the institute called the Bihar Institute of Law Aptitude Test (BILAT), candidates must score at least 40% marks in the entrance test to qualify for seats. For multiple candidates securing the same score, the selection will be done on graduation/10+2 marks.

Admissions at the Bihar Institute of Law Patna is based on their standardized entrance exam the BILAT, aspirants looking to apply for LL.B or B.A.LL.B course must follow this procedure:

Aspirants need to acquire the prospectus and application for the office of BIL, Patan any paying an amount of INR 1100 or they can download the same for the official college website in which case the application fees has to be paid in the form of a bank draft of INR 1200 drawn in favor of Bihar Institute of Law, Patna.
Candidates then need to submit the following documentation:
1. Duly filled application form.
2. Admit card
3. Attendance sheet along with bank draft (to be submitted only by applicants that have downloaded the application form)
4. Self-attested copies of mark sheets (10th, 12th, Graduation(if any)).
5. Caste Certificate(If any).
The above-mentioned documents must be submitted to Principal, Bihar Institute of Law, Raja Bazar, Ashiana More, Post – B.V. College, Patna – 800 014 before the last date of the form submission.
