Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Pharmacy Campus Life and Facilities

The Lucknow based Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Pharmacy is situated at Junab Ganj of Lucknow and on a huge area of 3 acres of land. Also the campus of the college is surrounded by lush greenery and pollution free environment and MGIP is just 12 kms away from the Lucknow Airport. Digital Classrooms: The institute has smart, fully air-conditioned and spacious classrooms, all of which are well-resourced with overhead and LCD projector facilities. Along with this, the institution has tutorial rooms to conduct extra lectures for the students who need them.

Computer Center: With the objective of helping everyone to learn new skills and develop innovative programs and software, make them digitally proficient and assist them in utilizing the full potential of online learning platforms, the institute has established well-developed computing facilities and a lab where latest Linux and Windows based desktop system are available and various kinds of application software and database management system have been installed on each.

Library: For the purpose of assisting students for their project and research work and enhancing their subject knowledge with additional learning resources, there is a huge library on the college campus. This library is a home of a rich collection of the latest world class Marcel Dekker series of pharmaceutical sciences, Indian and international journals, Pharmacopoeias (USP, BP, IP, EP), periodicals and references and a digital library is also there which hosts an extensive collection of CDs, audio-visual facilities along with internet and reprographic section.

Audio-Visual Center: The college also has a sophisticated, fully air-conditioned and well-resourced AV centre which is primarily used for organizing guest lectures, seminars and demonstration in collaboration with the regular and visiting faculty members.

And all kinds of latest digital facilities including Overhead projectors, Slide projectors, Wide screen TV's, Video representation and central audio system for better and faster and better understanding of concepts delivered to students.

Herbal Garden: A well maintained medicinal garden has been established by the college on campus and a diverse range of medicinal herbs have been planted here, therapeutic details about which are spread among students from time to time.

Animal House: Last but not the least, the college has developed a separate animal house on campus in accordance with the CPCSEA guidelines and animals housed in animal blocks are used during different kinds of experiments on a regular basis. And animals like rats, mice of different strains, guinea pigs and rabbits are present here along with a tank full of frogs.
