Jharkhand GNM Nursing Admission 2023: Eligibility
The candidate is eligible for admission to Jharkhand GNM if he/she fulfills the following criteria.
- The candidates must have passed class 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject and preferably Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum score of 40% from a recognized board.
- The candidates who have passed class 10+2 from the Arts stream with English are also eligible for Jharkhand GNM.
- Candidates with a diploma in Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) recognized by the Indian Nursing Council with a minimum aggregate of 40% can also apply for Jharkhand GNM.
- The candidates registered as ANM with the State Nursing Registration Council.
- The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years as of December 31 the year of applying.
- The maximum age limit is 35 years. Candidates with an age of more than 35 years can not apply for Jharkhand GNM.

- The result for the Jharkhand GNM entrance examination or NECE is made available on the official website of JCECEB.
- Before the announcement of the result of the entrance examination, the answer key of the examination is released on the same platform.
- The result is announced in the form of a merit list. The candidate can find his/her result by typing the name or roll number or even date of birth.
- The merit list issued is arranged in rank-wise order. If two candidates have the same rank then the candidate with more marks in Biology is given the preference.
- If the Biology marks are also the same, the candidate with more marks in Chemistry will be placed above in the rank list.
- The candidate with the same marks in Biology and Chemistry, then the rank is decided by the marks scored in Physics. If the marks obtained in all the subjects are the same then the alphabetical order is kept in mind while processing the rank list.
