Maharashtra Nursing Council is responsible for conducting Maharashtra GNM admission. The official notification regarding registrations for Maharashtra GNM Admission 2023 will be out soon. GNM course provides theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of nursing.
The GNM Course is a 3-year diploma course with 6 months of compulsory internship. The first 3 years of the course provide theoretical knowledge in subjects like anatomy, physiology, community medicine, gynecology, etc.

Maharashtra GNM Admission 2023: Eligibility
The candidate willing to take admission to GNM course must fulfill the following eligibility criteria-
- The candidate must have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination from the science stream from any institution in Maharashtra and must have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.
- The candidate should be a resident of Maharashtra.
- The candidate must be at least 17 to 35 years old while applying for Maharashtra GNM Admission 2023.
- Candidates must have successfully completed the ANM course.

After the submission of the application form, wait for the merit list to be announced on the official website.
The selection is done on the basis of merit marks obtained in 10+2. Once the merit list is declared the counseling procedure begins after which the academic session begins.
Maharashtra GNM Admission 2023: Counselling
- The candidates who are selected for the counseling procedure will be notified through a merit list which will be uploaded to the official website.
- The selected candidates have to appear with the required documents, the online application form, and the payment receipt for the counseling.
- The selected candidates have to appear at the respective institution for the counseling round which is followed by a medical check-up of the candidate.
Maharashtra GNM Admission 2023: Reservation
- There are approximately 350 seats for Maharashtra GNM Admission 2023.
- 5% of the total seats are reserved for the students who have completed the ANM course.
- 5% of the seats are also reserved for handicapped students.
Note: If candidates of a particular category are not available then the seats will be available on merit to other reserved candidates.
