The TOEFL iBT score dates often vary – TOEFL scores are delivered to the universities within 6 to 11 days of the test date. The TOEFL fee includes the cost of delivering the test scores up to 4 universities and the candidate can add or delete from the score report recipients through their ETS account until 10 pm before the day of the test. There are three delivery methods:

2. Score Link Service:Takes 8 - 10 days;
3. Postal: 9 - 11 days + mailing time

If a candidate finds their score to be invalid they can question ETS regarding the same and the latter will review the score. The test taker is provided with 3 options:

1. They can authorize ETS to abort the scores and arrange for a future test without extra charge;
2. They can authorize ETS to abort the scores and get back their refund;
3. Or submit the case for arbitration which is only applicable for candidates residing in United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, or Canada only.

ETS is a highly trusted conducting body and the scores it produces is hardly ever questioned. But when it does, ETS ensures that it goes through a fair process of review. In fact, candidates are also made to state their agreement during the TOEFL registration process that if ETS detects any act which may turn the scores invalid, ETS has the right to review or cancel the scores.
