Master of Arts [M.A] (Media and Communication Science)
Field of Study:
The research-oriented master's program "Media and Communication Science / Media and Communication Science" is a social science-oriented course, at the centre of which is the exploration of media-mediated communication. The course consists of a combination of communication science, media technology, and economics or law teaching content (Ilmenau model). The course is research-oriented and closely interlinked with current, medium and long-term research activities at the Institute for Media and Communication Science.

Tuition Fees
The Ilmenau University of Technology does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 120 USD in the first semester of the Master's course, in the following semesters the contribution fee is103 USD.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Completion of a related bachelor's degree transcripts is needed.
- Admission to the master's program at the TU Ilmenau requires a passed aptitude test. This aptitude test takes place as a formal test of your certificates.
- CV is required
- Certificate of any previous German knowledge is needed.
