The MSc in Textile Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University offers an interdisciplinary curriculum drawing on diverse science and engineering principles.
The program provides knowledge on the latest development in textile technology in a wide range of subjects covering high-performance fibers, 3D textiles, and new processes and machines to manufacture textile products.
The Textile Engineering students develop a unique background, which allows them to pursue applied research, summer intern experiences, and design projects ranging from innovative production technologies to the design of novel high-performance fibers for the automotive and aviation industry.
The program offers small class sizes with personal attention from faculty.
This Master’s degree course is highlighted through its internationality, its focus on interdisciplinarity, and its training of highly qualified young professionals, combines teaching, project, and research results by putting these directly into practice.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
The necessary knowledge needed in order for studies to be successful is determined in the respective exam regulations (PO).
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Students need to have a minimum of first-class or upper Second with a minimum of 60-80% on an institutional basis.
