Computer-assisted modeling, analysis, and simulation of physical and technical systems in engineering is called Computational Engineering. The Computational Engineering program at the TU Darmstadt is interdisciplinary in its approach. It represents the cooperation of the departments and study fields of Mathematics, Mechanics, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, and Computer Science. The first four semesters teach the fundamentals of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering involved in this field of study.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Followings are the requirements for this program:
- Test German as a foreign language for foreign applicants (TestDaF) with a final result of TDN 16; only one TDN 3 may be compensated for by one TDN 5.
- German Language Diploma of the Conference of Ministers of Education - Second Level (DSD-II)
- Goethe Certificate C2: Great German Language Diploma.
