Tuition Fees
The University of Greifswald does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 82 USD per semester as Semester contribution and 107 USD once as enrolment fee.
- In the BA partial degree program in public law, a subject from the Faculty of Arts is combined with training in public law.
- The compulsory subject training corresponds to the training in public law of the state law course. By choosing other faculty events as part of the elective module, the course can be individually specialized.
- The training leads to occupations in which in-depth knowledge of public law is required, for example in public administration, in associations, in public institutions, in advice centers or in training and qualification institutions.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Prior to commencing studies, students will be required to provide proof of German language proficiency. The following certificates are recognized by the University of Greifswald for applications to a full degree course:
- the ‘Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber’ (DSH) at least level 2*
- the ‘Deutsche Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz’ (level 2)
- the Goethe-Zertifikat C2 from the Goethe Institute
- the ‘Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache’ (Test DaF), at least level 4 in all partial examinations*
- the certificate ‘telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule’
- a completed degree in German Studies, an assessment test with German as an examination subject.
