Tuition Fees
Friedrich Schiller University Jena does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 277 USD per semester as Semester contribution.
The Master of Science in Economics teaches students the skills needed to analyze economic issues and problems thoroughly, understand and apply the relevant academic theory, and use the correct formal and empirical methods. This, in turn, will allow them to find creative approaches to problem-solving and predict the political and social consequences of economic activity.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- For this master's program, Students need a subject-specific bachelor degree (minimum 6 semesters/180 ECTS-Credits) or a recognized equivalent.

- Some courses might require German language proficiency. Applicants for German taught programs must pass German Language Test for Admissions to Higher Education (DSH) at DSH-2 level.
