The course includes English and American studies and economics. There are also key qualifications, some of which are taught in the modules of the culture and language area, but are also offered in special modules. An eight-week internship must be completed at home or abroad during the course.
Alternatively, a study visit to a university in an English-speaking country is also possible. English / American Studies largely consists of the area of culture and language, which includes the subjects of national and cultural sciences and intercultural communication, linguistics and literary studies and language practice. The courses in this area are usually offered in English.

For this course, students need one of the following degrees or certificates:

General University Entrance Qualification
Professional qualification (studying without a high school diploma)
TestDaf: Level 4 in all sub-exams
Goethe certificate: level C2 in all module parts
Telc German: C1 university
German language diploma of the Conference of Ministers of Education: DSD II with continuous level C1 in all areas
German language test for university admission (DSH) at a registered university: The DSH is divided into three stages. The DSH-2 is required to start studying. There is an exception for the artistic courses (visual arts, visual communication, and product design). Only DSH-1 is required for this: Proof of language proficiency for admission to study at the art college.
