- In addition to Chemistry, the course also includes a second teaching subject, Educational Sciences, and compulsory teaching experience in schools.
- With a view to working in a school, graduates are taught to give lessons in chemistry in a competent and clear manner that is appropriate for the age of the pupils.
- Alongside lessons on the basic theoretical principles of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry, students also attend lessons on teaching methods and approaches.
- If Students combine a Two-subject Bachelor whose admission is open with one whose is restricted, the deadlines are: Winter semester: June 1 - July 15 and Summer semester: December 1 - January 15.

- Students need to German language certificate: DSH-2.
- Certificates that are recognized as being equivalent to the German Abitur allow for direct admission to the university. Like the German Abitur, Students’ certificates may allow applying for any subject, or students may be restricted to certain subjects.
