Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- The entire program can be completed in English. So, applicants are therefore required to provide proof of English skills at CEFR level B2.
- The students whose official language is not English must submit the English Language Proficiency scores like IELTS or TOEFL.
- Students need to submit a tabular Curriculum Vitae with their educational and professional background information.
- Proof of working experience of at least one year (preferably in the relevant working areas of energy) after completion of studies.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete the following eligibility criteria:
- The minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree with first division from a recognized college or university.
TU Berlin does not require a GMAT or GRE score, but a well-balanced score may strengthen the application to this particular program.

To apply for the MS Automotive Engineering program of TUM, you must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. You must demonstrate proficiency in English through a recognized language test such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent. Submission of GRE score is necessary for admission in this program.
To apply for the Master in Renewable Energy program of TUM you must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Along with this you must also have a valid ELP test score. GRE score is not optional but preferred.
