Often people are not aware of how much mathematics surrounds us in everyday life, e.g. in the cell phone, in the car, on CDs, in the weather forecast etc.
- Mathematics does not convey views that require interpretation. It builds on generally accepted statements (axioms) and logical conclusions.
- During the course, a feel for the essentials is developed. This is accompanied by the development of the ability to apply mathematical methods and structured thinking to complex problems.

- If Student is attending to"Studienkolleg", in order to prepare for the university assessment exam.
- Students need to take a DSH-Exam (German as a Foreign Language exam).
