Someone has posted a fake review using my name, hence clarifying. I am studying with neev. I find it very helpful. Teachers are great and make the class interactive. They are prompt in doubt clarification and approachable. There is personal attention and focus on each and every student. I have already recommmended Neev to my friends and would recommend to any future aspirants as well.
I had a great experience at Neev Classes in the last two years. The teaching is great and all teachers try to make the classes interactive. Tests are taken regularly which help you gauge your preparation in the topics which have been taught recently. The atmosphere at Neev is competitive enough to motivate the students to put their best foot front but not so much so that it was worrying. Due to the same, I've bonded well with my fellow students at Neev and made some great friends during my time at the institute. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers and staff at Neev Classes whose efforts have helped me in achieving my dreams. I would also like to specially thank my subject teachers, Rakhi ma'am, Prashant sir, Amit sir and Divyanshu sir for helping me build a strong foundation of concepts which reflects on the results. I would recommend Neev to future aspirants who are looking for a choice they won't regret.
One should really look negative input to balance out positive feedback. Also look for positive input to balance out negative feedback, because I see neither of these here hyperbole. Negative feedback gets posted naturally, while moderate and positive feedback requires a persuasion *campaign* after each negative one. :) They have issues, but other coaching probably have more(?) Positives 1. Stable and capable teaching staff, with no or few changes over a two-year period. It could change if they spread themselves too thinly (I see they're opening several new centers this year). 2. They are still a small coaching firm, thus the majority of their students come through personal referrals rather than media marketing. This result in them to concentrate on teaching and become more dependable. 3. They do not provide much of coaching edited material. Uses books and question banks. Their issues stems from marketing statements, orientation sessions. 1. Data presented - They say 17/17 got under 10k rank from their top batch. But they maintain 30-40 children in the top batch, this year 14 received better than a 10,000 rank in Advance. The total number of students in the full 12th batch should be around 140. 2. What they claim to give attention to all the students, it is actually happens with top 7-8 students or those who can consistently press for it, but in their marketing campaign it is generalised as though it happens with every student. They are too busy to give personal attention or focus to even 20% students. They are extremely disorganized. 1. They made their students and parents Deepal platform testers. Students wasted lot of time with platform bugs. 2. Despite the fact that they have been coaching for a long time, they do not have a fixed structure for covering a two-year curriculum. They constantly change its order without notice, but show that as if it is after great research. 3. Even teachers are unaware of the next day's schedule. Many time schedule for the following day is released as late as 10:30-11 PM. 4. They have non existent clerical staff. Getting acknowledgement after paying the fee is a difficult task by it self. Integrated classes 1. It does not provide the best of both worlds; but good to saves time. 2. It is more like your child attending coaching, where the teacher is unconcerned about practicals/projects and other aspects of classroom learning. Long hours in a single chapter in a day and overall (some time 30-40 hours for a single chapter). Took long time to complete 11th, rushed for 12th portion. In 12 they started relying more on pre recorded videos followed by lectures. 3. There is also a lack of coordination between school and coaching. A personal note to parents reading this review, regardless of the coaching you choose: 1. Do not enroll your child in 9th and 10th grades; instead, let them enjoy school life and sports. Believe me, it makes no difference, especially if he is 16 or younger while in the 10th grade. Let them develop other aspect of their personality. 2. Keep an eye on your child if he is not addicted to YouTube scrolling, online gaming, or other similar activities. Assist them in positively breaking free from such distractions/addictions. 3. Keep an eye on him to see if he is attempting coaching exams honestly. 4. Level set your expectations after 4-6 months of coaching, where he stands, strategies the plan accordingly. 5. Take these coaching institutes as guiding rails, which keeps you on track, and helps you judge your preparation for the examination. But have your own plan-b such that you avoid negatives aspect of generalized coaching. I noticed students who did not completely relied on coaching got better rank. To summarize: Faculty, course, intent are good, but to leverage it fully student deserve better organized, better paced classes. Provide more teaching less coaching, specially in integrated batch.
I joined Neev in 11th as a part of the integrated course with Primus and let me tell you, it is one of the best decisions we made. My teachers have been really helpful and supportive throughout these two years. I know that the journey was hard on us but unfortunately thats how these exams work and Ill always happily look back at my time spent in Neev. Amit sir, Rakhi maam, Divyanshu sir, Prashant Sir and Nimish sir made me love studying and helped me achieve my dream college! Plus I met some of my best friends here!
Long review alert ahead ! From being undecided about what stream to choose, to getting decent ranks (5Kish in Mains, 9kish in advanced with no prep by choice, lower 200s in KCET and 300+ in BITSAT) in competitive exams, we have been through it all with our daughter and Neev classes has been instrumental in shaping this journey for which we are very thankful. Our daughter joined Jigyasa in her 9th standard in 2019 and Nimish Sir was just brilliant ! Its his teaching that convinced our daughter that she has a flair for science. We are extremely thankful to Amit Sir (esp his motivating and uplifting talks - which came when it was required the most), Rakhi Ma'am Prashant Sir, Krishna Sir, Divyanshu Sir - all knowledgeable, brilliant teachers who are passionate - with depth of knowledge in the subjects they teach. This is what we looked for primarily in a coaching institute. The teachers are knowledgeable and very approachable. They are available for clearing doubts in school and through chat esp when it was most needed just before the Mains exams when time is of utmost importance Classes in 11th (2021 - 2022) were mostly well paced considering most of it was online due to Covid. However the classes in 12th (2022 - 2023) were a bit rushed esp. towards the end where a large number of videos were assigned in a short duration. Confident that they will address this the subsequent years. Last but not the least, our daughter decided not to seriously prepare for her advanced after her JEE Mains. Although they did not agree with this decision and did attempt to convince her otherwise, they respected this and didn't force her. This is something that we really appreciate as parents - the choice to make an informed decision. In a nutshell, would we recommend Neev Classes ? Undoubtedly YES !!
